iPhone

I Changed My Mind

Recently I was of the opinion that I didn’t want an iPhone, as technically it didn’t suit my needs – there were other phones that had better hardware etc.

But, I changed my mind, I jumped on the Applewagon and bought an iPhone, and I have to say, it’s glorious.  The things I thought I wanted don’t seem important now.  And the sheer size of the extended community of the platform offers such opportunity.

I’m naturally stubborn, and somtimes I need to stop being so damned awkward and follow like a sheep anyway!

  1. Having worked with Apple Macs since 1991, working in business using Apple products I always stayed away from their consumer stuff.

I couldn’t bring myself round to using the iPhone for a long time.

Once I got it and put on work apps like SSH, Ping/telnet, VNC etc it made sense. Just really nice to use, but still needs a few more features that v3 and beyond should bring.
