25poundlogo (50dollarlogo) Refund from NoChex

money back guarantee

money back guarantee?

Over 2 months ago I tried out 25poundlogo (also know as 50dollarlogo) for a logo for a new site.

The results were DIRE, despite repeated attempts, so I asked for a refund. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

They said it would take up to 21 days!  Err, I’m sure it only takes about 21 seconds.

Over two months later, a dozen or so emails to them, a support ticket to NoChex (re-opened 3 times) and today I finally got my refund.

My advice: avoid them like the plague. And if you do need a refund, ask NoChex, lots.

[NB: I do not link to them in this article, they're not having my link juice...]

  2. they are scammers i asked them to design a logo and even paid a little extra for the next day service after a week i received nothing so i sent a complaint to nochex so i could get a refund but instead of a refund i recieved 4 extremely crap logos that looked like they were made on word anyway i wasnt satisfied so i said i wanted a refund and after a month and a half of emails and no-replys and more complaints to nochex i finally got my refund.

my advice to anyone planning on using them so as to save few pounds DONT stay away from them THEY ARE SCAMMERS there are bad reviews all over the net about them.

  3. I asked for a refund in March and there is still no sign of it. I have sent them lots of emails and no reply, or they forward me to another department.

I think part of their business strategy is not give refunds easily, hoping that people will just get fed up and give up.

I’m very angry that they can get away with this, but I’m not giving up!

  4. I went through a similar experience and just wrote off my loss. I’m trying LogoNerds.com now and so far they have been a pleasure to deal with.

  5. Is Nochex aligned with 50dollarlogo? Are they part of the scam – seems to me that they are allowing theft and fraud to be committed through their money processing “scheme”. This one is certainly no PayPal – no protection for the consumer. I wish everyone knew the truth about these companies.

    • No, as far as I know NoChex are nothing to do with 50dollarlogo.

NoChex is a UK company that have been around many years offering a similar service to PayPal. Their fees are cheaper than PayPal, and seem to be pretty good.

I don’t know what protection NoChex ‘officially’ offer the buyer, but from my experience they certainly helped me get my refund.

  7. Dreadful company and designs. They didn’t listen to any of the requests I gave them with regards to the colours and look of the logo. In the end I asked for a refund. Its know 5 weeks and I am still waiting, they do not reply to any of my mails, or messages sent through their web site. I think my next step will be to trading standards or some such organisation. I am sure they must be in breach of some law given this false 100% refund guarantee claim.
